The aluminum is considered as a growing market today, but the reality is that it has been a key material for car manufacturers for several decades.

For every kilogram of aluminum used in each car, the total weight of the vehicle is reduced by one kilogram. With the increasing relevance of fuel efficiency and achieving a reduction in CO2 emissions.

Therefore, aluminum becomes the ideal material in the manufacture of vehicles and their components. It is a strong and lightweight material, easy to combine with other materials, resistant to heat and corrosion. All these mentioned characteristics make car manufacturers take them into account for the manufacture of different body elements such as: Bumper cores, hoods, doors etc.

As manufacturers balance their weight costs in relation to their material costs, technologies to minimize the amount of aluminum required per part are indeed welcome.
